Services

01

4-D Movement Analysis

Our proprietary 12-point assessment gives us an idea of how well you move. We identify your body's default programming, determine which tissues are the pain generators, and more importantly we also 'zoom out' to evaluate how these affect your movement globally, in linear, horizontal, rotational, and vertical planes. This is the key to seeing you functionally and developing a program of care tailored to you, your goals and limitations.

03

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists assess and treat conditions that keep you from feeling your best.

We help you:

  • Overcome pain

  • Increase movement

  • Feel strong

  • Take a deeper breath

  • Recover from illness

  • Promote health

  • Prevent injury

05

Acupuncture

Acupuncture can be effective as a solitary treatment, or as an adjunct to other therapeutic interventions.

The WHO recognizes the use of acupuncture in the treatment of:

  • Sports related injuries and movement disorders

  • Muscle and joint pain

  • Chronic pain, including headaches and osteoarthritis

  • Digestive disorders

  • Menstrual and reproductive problems

  • Respiratory problems such as allergies and asthma

  • Stress related problems

07

Motor Vehicle Accidents

The trauma of an unexpected collision is enough to manage without the added confusion and uncertainty surrounding medico-legal reports and paperwork. We are your allies on the path to recovery. We work with your case manager, legal team, and HR to ensure your healing is as swift and painless as possible so you can focus on what matters which is getting better.

09

Bracing

We offer a variety of custom and ready-made braces designed to limit range of motion and add stability during healing. When properly fit, such devices can be an important adjunct to clinical care whether used following an acute incident, for return to sport, or pre or post surgically. Whatever the circumstance, we will ensure you have the tools you need and the understanding of how to use them.

Custom Orthotic Therapy

A custom orthotic is a device designed to align the foot and ankle into the most anatomically efficient position. They help to re-align the foot by redirecting and reducing certain motion that takes place during the gait cycle.

They look like insoles, but are biomechanical medical appliances that are custom made to correct your specific foot imbalance. Custom orthotics work on your feet much like glasses work on your eyes - they reduce stress and strain on your body by bringing your feet back into proper alignment.

02

Chiropractic

Chiropractic care is a patient-centred, non-invasive, hands-on, regulated health care profession focused on your spine, muscles,  joints and nervous system.

Chiropractors use the best available evidence and clinical expertise to diagnose issues that affect your body’s movement. They treat them without medication or surgery and prevent them from returning. Chiropractic care can also promote health and improve your quality of life, as well as alleviate pain.

04

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved; and physical dysfunction and pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented through the use of Massage Therapy.

06

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic doctors address the fundamental causes of disease, heal the whole person through individualized treatment, and teach the principles of healthy living and preventative medicine.

  • Clinical nutrition;

  • Lifestyle management;

  • Traditional Asian medicine and acupuncture;

  • Botanical (herbal) medicine;

  • Physical medicine; and

  • Homeopathy.

08

Pre-Post Surgical Rehab

Statistics show that patients recover better from surgery when they optimize their strength and range of motion beforehand. Similarly, the best indicator of post-surgical recovery is transitioning from passive care to active care while allowing time for tissues to heal at their normal physiologic rate.

We work with family doctors, sports medicine physicians, and orthopedic surgeons to ensure that your healing is thoroughly managed from top to bottom.

10

Therapeutic Exercise

Whether to increase your range of motion, improve muscle strength, improve your posture, or gain balance and coordination, our specially designed therapeutic exercise focus on optimal joint positioning and motor control to restore normal function of injured tissues to maintain a state of well-being.

12

Shock Therapy

Shockwave Therapy, also known as Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT), is a non-invasive and highly effective treatment option that harnesses the power of acoustic waves to promote healing and alleviate chronic pain such as plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, calcific tendinopathy, arthritis to name a few. Shockwave technology is derived from Lithotripsy, a procedure that has been safely used for decades to break down kidney stones.

Shockwave has been proven to be particularly beneficial for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions (meaning involving the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints!), and we are excited to bring this advanced technology to you.

During a Shockwave Therapy session, a highly skilled clinician focuses high-energy acoustic waves on the targeted area. These waves create microtrauma within the damaged tissue, stimulating the body's natural healing response. This process enhances blood circulation, promotes cell regeneration, and reduces inflammation, ultimately leading to pain relief and improved mobility.

Comfortable, friendly and very professional atmosphere. Amazing care with simple explanation so you can easily understand exactly what it is they’re doing and why. Great people, great results! Highly recommend Omega Health and Fitness!  – S.M.
